Amarinder Singh has won from Patiala (Urban) seat by a margin of over 51,000 votes. Amarinder, who turned 75 on Wednesday, is all set to take over as the next chief minister of Punjab in what is considered his last stint in active politics since he had already declared that the 2017 polls would be his last elections. “CLP meeting has been called tomorrow (Sunday) at 2pm,” Singh has said.
