Actress Neha Dhupia prefers not to brag

The starlet say she does not like to brag about what she has done. She prefers to let her work to speak for her.

She’s been in the industry for more than six years, but actress Neha Dhupia says she prefers to let her work do the talking. “This is the way I have been throughout my career. I am not someone who would go and tell everyone what I have done in the past. This is not to say that I am less ambitious than anyone. It’s just that I can’t serve myself on a platter” says Dhupia.

Dhupia adds that she has no qualms about playing supporting role in films like

Singh Is Kinng

and the recently released

De Dana Dan

. “There is a thin distinction between lead and supporting roles today. You may not be a romantic lead in a film, but then you have to see the kind of value you bring to a film,” she says.

Apart from being all praise for directors Vipul Shah and Priyadarshan, Dhupia says she owes a lot to the trio of actors Rajat Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla and Vinay Pathak. “These are the people responsible for opening up different avenues for me,” says Neha.

Asked about the status of the show,

, for which Dhupia has shot with singer Jessica Simpson, she replies, “Jessica Simpson and I have finished shooting for it in Mumbai. The show happened since she saw me perform in

Bollywood Heroes

, an American mini-series on television. I can’t say much about

, as I am contract bound, but it was fun doing the show. Also, seeing the tremendously good response for

Bollywood Heroes

, we might do season 2, though nothing concrete is planned,” she concludes.
