In an exclusive interview with the Sun, the former manager also rubbished claims that he mismanaged the singer's finances when he was in charge of her career, the Sun reported. Although the decision to separate was mutual, the 61-year-old insists that he is extremely sad that Beyonce has cut him out of her life.

The Grandfather has also reportedly yet to meet his granddaughter Blue Ivy, who was born last year. The record producer said that she didn't let him go but both of us to let each other go and let's be clear on that.

Speaking from his office in Houston, Texas, he added that it was not a normal ending of a business agreement as this was a dad and a daughter and it was incredibly painful and it had some difficulties.
