Bollywood rallies behind Shah Rukh

Bollywood has come out in full attendance to support Shah Rukh Khan in the ongoing Sena-SRK row.

Right from Mahesh Bhatt, Hrithik Roshan, Pritish Nandy, Shekhar Kapoor to Priyanka Chopra, and Shahid Kapoor, everyone has expressed solidarity with Shah Rukh Khan.

Director Mahesh Bhatt defied the threats of Shiv Sena activists to go and watch the movie at Fun Cinemas in Mumbai. Showing concerns over the ban of My Name Is Khan in Gujarat, he tweets, "The brand ambassador of Gujarat Shri Amitabh Bachchan must be asked to prevail upon Modi to step in urgently and get MNIK released in Guj!"

Shekhar Kapur too articulates on twitter. "My full support to @iamsrk and @kjohar25. Go for it guys!!!" …I pray for one of the nicest person in this industry @kjohar25 and the entire team of MNIK."

Pritish Nandy tweets, "Just crossed Inox. Amazing bandobast! @iamsrk has the Govt with him, cops, media, his fans. So whats all the fuss about?"

The director of My Name Is Khan, Karan Johar is "overwhelmed and moved to tears with all the support our labour of love is getting...thank you…thank you". The controversy has even possibly bridged differences as he thanked Mahesh, "thank you sir...and apologies for a decade of my unnecessary silence and grown up now."

Hrithik Roshan too felt the need to take his stand on the issue. He too joined the twitter world and posted his first tweet "Spread humanity with a vengeance, go watch My Name Is Khan...and for the record, my name is Hrithik Roshan."

Other celebs like Priyanka Chopra are "dying to see the movie." Shahid Kapoor is urging the public to go watch the movie. "Wishing u guys all the best for tom the film looks awesome. Go watch it all of u guys" he tweets.

The controversy has gathered immense support as people are voicing their views without fearing the Shiv Sena activists.
