The event kick-started with a performance by the western music club and was followed by an In-house Jazz performance. The chief attraction of the day was a spoof on former Bihar chief minister Lalu Prasad Yadav and a play by the Dramatics Club called Punjabi Julius Caesar.

“It was an excellent performance put up by the seniors to welcome the new batch” says Mona, a third year student. Dressed as Bollywood celebrities of different eras, the students sashayed the ramp on filmi numbers like Apni toh jaise taise, Gal mithi mithi bol and many more.

After a round of walking the ramp, a rigorous question-answer session and a talent round, Mr and Ms Fresher were declared. The title of Ms Fresher was won by Shreya Saran. Amrit Kumar was crowned Mr Fresher. The party continued with students enjoying and dancing in the jam session.
