The 62-year-old Kiss bassist tweeted something political about a week ago, and later changed it, writing about Al Pacino and Motley Crue instead, also revealing his dream 2012 ticket: Rick Perry and Condoleezza Rice.
“Hear ye, hear ye. I have never stated who I will vote for this coming Pres election,” the Politico quoted him as tweeting.
“However, I DO believe Gov Perry will surge ahead. And, said so. Today, CNN reports he’s on top of the GOP polls and he has barely run.
“I have problems w/ his social issues, but agree w/ his fiscal issues. Unless Pres Obama proves himself, the next Pres will be Gov Perry,” Simmons stated.
As for the Condi news, the Israeli-American singer said that although Condoleezza Rice won’t be running for the post of the Vice President, yet the ticket is a winner.
“Wanna play a Political Game? Here’s a hard ticket to beat - Gov Perry and Condoleezza Rice,” he wrote.
“Met her in Stockholm and she struck me as politically savvy as anyone I’ve met in gov’mt. She won’t run for VP, but this ticket is a winner,” he tweeted.
