Farida Takia: Definitely. She’s the only friend I have actually

Ayesha Takia: It would have to be one of my films. So, it would probably be Dor
Farida Takia: I love Dor. I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve seen it because I cry so much!
What kind of music does your mother enjoy?
Ayesha Takia: She likes all kinds, but as funny as this may be, she likes hip-hop especially
Farida Takia: My family laughs at me because I’m not young, but I’m always grooving to hip-hop music
When and how did your mom meet your dad?
Ayesha Takia: I think they met in a park or garden. I remember it had something to do with dogs!
Farida Takia: Our brothers met when they were walking their dogs in the garden. We met through them
What makes your mother’s day?
Ayesha Takia: We’re homebodies, she likes chilling at home and having a cup of tea
Farida Takia: Yes, since Ayesha loves tea, that becomes my day’s highlight too
What does she dislike about you the most?
Ayesha Takia: I complain a lot about everything, even silly things that aren’t important
Farida Takia: Yes, she does that. Then to put things in perspective, I have to give her long lectures

Dia Mirza: Instrumental classical western/Indian
Deepa Mirza: Western classical, mostly
When and how did your mom meet your dad?
Dia Mirza: At a party at Max Mueller Bhavan, when she was studying German in Hyderabad
Deepa Mirza: Yes, we met at a party organised by the director of Mueller Bhavan
What makes your mother’s day?
Dia Mirza: When she sees me doing something I really love
Deepa Mirza: When Dia does something that fulfills her and I get to see her happy
What does she dislike about you the most?
Dia Mirza: She hates the fact that I take on too much
Deepa Mirza: Yes, she doesn’t take care of her health. She should delegate work to others as well

Prachi Desai: Me

Prachi Desai: They were introduced to each other through a common friend
Ameeta Desai: Ours was an arranged marriage. We met when we went to see each other for the first time

Prachi Desai: If I give her a smile in the morning, that makes her day
Ameeta Desai: Prachi’s smile!
What does she dislike about you the most?
Prachi Desai: She would want me to change my habit of waking up late every morning
Ameeta Desai: I dislike her habit of not waking up early in the morning
