Hugh Hefner among Heroes of Hollywood

Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner has been named among Heroes of Hollywood for 2012.

Hefner, 86, is set to be honoured by the Hollywood Chamber Community Foundation for his contribution through his Playboy magazine on June 7, reports contactmusic.com.

The first Playboy issue was published in December 1953, which featured Marilyn Monroe from her 1949 nude calendar shoot and sold over 50,000 copies.
