I am in tears looking at the situation: Tigmanshu Dhulia

Tigmanshu Dhulia, who was recently named the brand ambassador of tourism for Uttarakhand, left for the flood-hit state two days ago to offer help to the victims. He also spoke to the state government to know how he could be of help in rehabilitating the affected in the aftermath of the natural disaster.

Filmmaker Tigmanshu Dhulia, who was recently named the brand ambassador of tourism for Uttarakhand, left for the flood-hit state two days ago to offer help to the victims. The filmmaker, who spoke to us over the phone from Uttarakhand, says that he also wants the film fraternity to lend support. “I am here to get first- hand information about the real damage that has occurred in people’s lives and I am in tears looking at the situation here. The local people have given me the real picture. Now, after knowing the situation on the ground I am asking the film fraternity to come forward and provide support,” says Tigmanshu.
