The 34-year-old shared about his nightmare, while promoting his new children's book Nightmares, reported People magazine.

"Witches were eating my toes!" Segel said when asked about his worst recurring nightmare.

He has written about the dream in Nightmare because 'it's such a strange visual and it was very specific'.

The actor deals with his nightmare by praying in morning and evening. "Lying in bed, I actually rethink a lot of stuff, to make sure it's okay," he said.

"Nightmares tend to be helpful in getting along with what really worries you. This makes one brave and stronger," he said.
