Kim Kardashian’s ex-publicist apologises over ‘staged’ marriage remarks

Kim Kardashian’s former publicist, Jonathon Jaxson, has issued a public apology to the reality TV star for alleging that her short-lived marriage to Kris Humphries was staged to gain media attention.

Kim Kardashian’s former publicist, Jonathon Jaxson, has issued a public apology to the reality TV star for alleging that her short-lived marriage to Kris Humphries was staged to gain media attention.

Jaxson, who claimed to have worked for the 31-year-old between 2007 and 2009, spoke out in the wake of the star’s decision to divorce her husband of 72 days, alleging that he often used to craft publicity stunts to boost her profile.After his claim of ‘staged’ wedding Kardashian’s legal team launched a 200,000-dollar lawsuit, accusing him of undermining her reputation.

In wake of the legal proceedings, Jaxson has taken to his website to write an official apology to the reality TV beauty, insisting that the comments were his personal opinion and not fact.“I wanted to apologize publicly to Kim Kardashian for any confusion that I may have caused by the personal statements I made recently regarding Kim Kardashian,” Contactmusic quoted him as writing on his website.

“I would like to further clarify that I did not have any first hand knowledge of Kim’s relationship with Kris. Any statement I made regarding Kim and her marriage was my opinion only and was not intended to imply first hand knowledge of Kim’s thoughts and feelings,” he wrote.
