According to TMZ, the actress slept over at the home in question Sunday night after a small get together -- along with several guests -- and when everyone woke up this morning, the owner of the home claimed expensive jewellery had been stolen from the property.
The website claims that Lindsay "was very cooperative" but protested her innocence, claiming she had "nothing to do with any missing jewellery."
Lindsay was one of the people interviewed by law enforcement officials as she was inside at the time.
As of now, Lindsay is not considered a suspect. The investigation is ongoing.
Lindsay is famed for her troubled past with the law. The 26-year-old star found herself in hot water last year when she breached the terms of her probation stemming from her no contest plea in a necklace theft case.
