About her
Shubhangi Tewari is the only Delhiite, and among the two Indians, who have been picked as finalists for the international music competition — Avon Voices. “I am one of the 182 girls chosen from among 6,000 entries from 60 countries,” says Tewari, who started singing when she was four years old. She is currently a vocal coach at Bridge Music Academy, at Bluebells International school and a session vocalist.
Stereo Buddha Tewari is the co-composer and vocalist of Stereo Buddha, an ambient/experimental project, based in the UK. “We have tried to fuse a lot of influences in our debut album, which is now in the mixing stage and will be ready for release shortly,” she says.
