“The shooting has been very hectic. The show is being made on a grand scale. There’s a shift in television serials now. Most of them have a rural connect now. The audience connects with them as well.”

As for her character, she portrays Rajbala, “a character with negative shades, the eldest bahu who follows what her husband does. She is manipulative and has a lot of pride. The story deals with issues in the village and the oonch neech that happens there,” she says.
