A few days ago, the Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya crew had a peculiar problem on hand. They were shooting in Patiala and since the schedule was long, the cast, including soon-to-be-married couple Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza, and crew, started missing ghar ka khaana (home-cooked food).

Veteran actor Om Puri found out about this. And since he has a lot of relatives in Patiala (he spent most of his childhood days there), surprised Riteish and Genelia by calling for food from his house.

“Yes, Omji was very hospitable to the entire team. Thanks to him, we didn’t feel like we were away from home as far food was concerned,” says an official from Tips, producers of the film.
