Kids are overjoyed when they come face to face with cartoon characters they watch on TV. Taking a cue from this, a mall in the Capital has got a popular animated character to visit the city.
This summer vacation, kids will get to meet the character of the robotic cat Doaremon, from the cartoon series of the same name, at the DLF Place mall in Saket. The character, who is on his first visit to India, will be visiting the mall on Saturday.
Talking about getting Doaremon to India, Benu Sehgal, mall head, DLF Place, Saket, says, “Since the summer vacations are just round the corner, we wanted to do something special for the little ones by bringing Doaremon out of television to meet them.
We invited Doraemon to India because this robotic cat is a character which has been constantly fascinating kids and their parents alike.”
At a specially created play zone in the mall, children can even enjoy activities, such as, colouring the character of Doaremon, playing a game called ‘Guess the gadget’, and creating Doaremon with clay. Kids can also spend time at the Doraemon house and enjoy screenings of animated movies featuring the character.
