What’s going on? the new B-town alliances
Kat gets friendly with Salman’s arch rival and Deepika and Mallaya Jr hang out.
Actors Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif are making their fans happy by bonding big time. A day after the actors shared a warm hug at an IPL match, SRK and Kat attended the FICCI Frames 2010 together in Mumbai.
This new equation between King Khan and rival Salman Khan’s girl friend has already caused a buzz. A source close to the actress said, “Katrina is a thorough professional and would not mind working with SRK. They do meet each other at events and always share cordial vibes with no animosity.”
SRK too tweeted about his meeting with Kat saying, “Always nice to meet ppl from the industry apart from shoots.”
However, he did clarify that they aren’t doing a film together.
But industrywallahs want to see the duo together on the screen. Filmmaker Ramesh Taurani said, “This may have been their first public appearance but I have often seen them together at social events. They look good and their on-screen pairing would be really good.” Asked if would cast them as a couple, he replied in a jocular manner, “If you can get me SRK, I’ll get Katrina.”
Director Anees Bazmee confessed, “I like Katrina’s on-screen chemistry with Akshay Kumar. But Shah Rukh is highly talented and good looking so if they do a film together, the audience will see a fresh chemistry.”
The cyber world too has given a thumbs up to the duo. “SRK and Kat look good together!” tweeted Sahiba. “Katrina chooses Shah Rukh over Salman! It’s almost a plot of reel life spun into real life,” wrote Naveed on Twitter.
