Aroma oils for your skin

Oily skin: Oily skin is prone to catching dust, dirt, and also hyper pigmentation, tanning and acne. To soothe its metabolic rate, use 2-3 drops of neroli oil, geranium oil or sandalwood oil in a glass of water and spray on your face, or use it as a toner.

Normal skin: People with this type of skin do not need much care. Just use a spray with 2-3 drops of lavender oil in a glass of water, or apply a moisturiser containing geranium oil or sandalwood oil.

Sensitive or allergic skin: This type of skin type is allergic to almost anything that’s applied, and hence breaks out into rashes. Use about 2 drops of tea tree oil and 1-2 drops of patchouli oil in a glass of chilled water, and store it in an aluminium spray bottle. Use it at least thrice daily.

Combination skin: People with this type of skin have dry cheeks while their nose and surrounding areas tend to be oily. Lavender oil or neroli oil works wonders for such skin type, optimising the oil balance of the skin and leaving it glowing and fresh.
