Who knew, undercuts look even better with a little bling, cereal, balloons, pearls and barbie shoes?

Punk-tastic hairstyle, the undercut, is one of the trendiest hairstyles of 2016. The 2013-14 cut had swept celebville with fashion-forward singers like Rihanna (below), Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus and actresses like Jada Pinkett Smith and Natalie Dormer giving it a go.

Cut to 2016 and the undercut for women is back.

For those not in the know: An undercut is when the sides and back sections of your head are buzzed or cut short. Undercut, right?

There are also about one million different takes on this style and there is no right or wrong way!

With all that buzz around ‘partially shaved heads’ and a little Instagram digging, we discovered a whole world of creative undercut decorations.

So, move over the ‘been-there-seen-those’ undercuts, there’s a new LWU (lady with undercut) on Instagram.

Meet Annelies Hofmeyr: She is eccentric (if not down-right crazy) and her hair is a bit too innovative for this world.
