Bauble enthusiasts have reason to celebrate. At the India International Show which launches tomorrow, jewellery designer Varuna D Jani will introduce her VOW collection. The line allows owners to create three variations from one single necklace. By patenting a locking system, which allows the necklace to be taken apart at key places and converted into a different piece, Jani hopes to revolutionise the way women deck themselves up. “Brides complain to me about having to store their wedding jewellery. The investment is very high and yet the jewellery isn’t versatile.”

The four lines under the VOW collection include Essentiale (Rs 1 lakh onwards), Eleganza (Rs 3 lakh onwards), Potanza for corporate wear (Rs 3 lakh onwards) and Sensazione (Rs 5 lakh onward). The collection will be available at Varuna D Jani Fine Jewellery, Linking Road, August 17 onwards.
