Actor Shruti Hassan, who has made a mark in southern films, especially with her recent Telugu flick Gabbar Singh, is looking for substantial roles in Bollywood.
She claims, “People think my focus is more on southern films, but I believe I am concentrating on Indian cinema. I am picky and choosy, as I want impactful characters.”
Shruti claims she never takes compliments on her beauty seriously, and used to love experimenting with make-up more when she wasn't shooting all the time.
“I would experiment with different hair and make-up styles, especially when I was studying abroad. Now, since I have to wear make-up for film and photo shoots, I like to give my skin a rest and leave it natural when the cameras aren’t rolling. Only if it’s an evening out, will I make an effort.”
-I take off my make-up completely with a cleanser, then I wash my face with Noxzema that I've been using since I was a teenager. It keeps my skin in check without drying it out. Once I’m done, I moisturise. It’s pretty simple
-I like my eyes to stand out. Curling my lashes and dabbing on a little highlighting powder makes them look fun and bright.
-Applying a natural-looking concealer onto any zits or trouble spots, along with a light cheek and lip tint, topped with curled lashes is my quick fix make-up mantra.
