She’s a stunner herself, but Ayesha Depala chose to dress up celebs glamourously instead. This Dubai-based designer has designed beautiful outfits for the film Aisha.

“It was a challenging experience. I read Emma and went through the script a couple of times to understand the character and the look required for the movie,” says Ayesha. “Sonam [Kapoor] is aware of what works for her in terms of shape, colour and silhouettes,” she adds.

Mundane things inspire the designer. “I observe a lot, especially uniquely dressed people on the streets. I’m also very inspired by the Mughal design and architecture. I look up to Vivienne Westwood for her garment construction,” she says.
