Day Three of fashion week ended on a controversial note, as designer Rohit Bal lashed out at designer Prashant Verma for using the Bhagwad Gita as a motif in his show. Verma presented a short video and still images depicting himself as Arjuna. Following Verma’s show, Bal, in full public view, shouted at him for having used the religious scripture. “Things could have gotten out of control very quickly.

Thank God Prashant didn’t also lose his cool,” said an eye witness. “Verma had once turned down a job offer by Bal. Things have never been good since then,” says another. “The Gita has been used in various creative fields. Whatever people have to say is their opinion,” says Verma. “I have decided to forget about it. Please let it be,” says Rohit Bal.
