Do you have to leave for a party soon and want to appear attractive but with a fresh look? Well, we give you the tips on how to look hot in this cold weather without making it look over the top.
1 Barely there:
The dewy look is very much in this season. Go for light tinted moisturisers, preferably with less shine for an evening party. The aim is to project a sheer skin texture. Select translucent foundations with a matte finish.
2 Less is more:
Go easy on the blusher as excess application will kill the dewy effect. Just a hint of blusher will do the trick. Choose neutral tones of powder blusher.
3 Play up the eyes:
You can play up your eye make-up. Use liquid eyeliner, eye pencil or kajal to line your eyelids, close to the lashes. Outline your eyes with dark eye pencil or eyeliner. Smudge the liner on your lower lid for a near-natural finish.
4 Frost and fabulous:
Sheen, gloss and shimmer stay popular for the lips. Lip liners should match the lipstick — the obviously lip-lined look is out. You can go for the neutral look, with light pink or beige, and a hint of pearl. In fact, shades of red, such as cherry and rose are right for the night, while lilac, mauve and pink are perfect for the day.
5 Hair moment:
Make sure your hair style complements your dewy make-up look. Long hair, with the layered look is very much in vogue. Or, you can wear your long hair in cascading waves. The softer look, with big natural waves, especially in the lower half of the hair goes well with the dewy look too.
