An Indian yogi is turning heads at the New York fashion week, which concludes today. The

trishul

armed, saffron clad guru, yogi Sri Kumare, who turned up on Monday at the high glamour event held at the Lincoln Center in NY City, became an instant hit with shutterbugs.

Kumare, a yoga master, tours the world to impart his teachings, and is currently in the US for the Wanderlust Festival, a famous yoga and music festival that showcases spiritual films.

The festival was held in Bondville earlier this week. An award winning movie tracing Kumare’s journey was screened at the festival, and will also be showcased at the upcoming American Woodstock Film Festival.
