Organic fabrics like handspun khadi were prominent in designer Soumitra Mondal’s collection at LFW.
“My collection is all about khadi. It’s all about India. For me, it’s important to show who we are. Khadi is gifted from India to the world.
I wanted to break the notion that khadi is only for the politicians and older people. Khadi is for all ages and you can wear it in any season,” said the designer.
