A lot of Bollywood A-listers have been rocking the off-shoulder trend these days. Here’s what fashion experts have to say about the Bardot top.

How many times have you seen a frilly, ruffled, off-shoulder top in a high-street store, at your favourite flea market and on that online portal you love? If you haven’t, you are definitely living under a rock! Delhi designers say that the style has made a big comeback and recent celeb spottings can vouch for the same.

From Kangana Ranaut sporting a white version with denim shorts to Deepika Padukone killing it in a cool blue — the Bardot bandwagon has left the station! The top takes its name from Brigitte Bardot, the French style icon who changed the fashion game and was known for making the off-shoulder style popular. For designer Rina Dhaka, the style is a personal favourite. “I was in London recently and saw the style all over! I love the trend and it has been a part of my earlier collections, and I’d love to create a kurta version of it. Also, it flatters all body types,” she says.
