1. Choose the perfect fabric and colour: These days, a bride is spoilt for choice when it comes to picking up fabrics. One can choose from fabrics like brocade or a mix of satin, silk and chiffons. When it comes to colours, team up
red with emerald green, orange and even yellow for a traditional yet trendy look.

2. Select your style: The beauty of Indian wear is that it suits all body types. A pretty back can be flaunted with a backless or halter choli. An A-line lehenga will suit all body types. The fish cut lehenga, which is fitted up to the knee and then flares out, looks great too.

3. Fitting it fine: Nothing is worth its value if it doesn’t fit your body well. Make sure that you go for your fitting days in advance to save yourself from last moment hassles.

4. Ease into embroideries: Embroideries play an important role in the bridal dress, as they add more value to it. Different embroideries, such as, zari, cut work, mirror work, organza, sequins, zardosi, pearls and kundan add to the beauty of the bridal wear. Peeta work, crystal and stones are currently in fashion. Even the dusty gold hued embroidery gives an elegant look to your red trousseau.
