While the FDCI is basking as every one is raving about the spacious venue; it seems it’s the models who are facing glitches. The models complained about the lack of food facilities.

As it turned out, the organisers have asked them not to have food from Shangri La hotel, where they have been accommodated for the event. So the model brigade has to travel all the way from their hotel to the venue in Pragati Maidan for their meals.

While it is true that at the other major international fashion weeks, food facilities are not available for media or the models. But since its inception, fashion weeks always offered food to media and models in India. But this time, the organisers decided not to offer any food and it caused inconvenience to models.

"The arrangements are so weird that we almost decided to walk out," said some disgruntled models. Another added, "If it was not for some of our designer friends, we would have actually called it quits." Another grouse remains that of dirty restrooms.
