Get over photoshopped memes that keep making the rounds on your WhatsApp groups, and check out this new celeb obsession (if you haven’t already!). A host of apps offer this feature which enables the user to digitally ‘swap’ their face with someone else’s for a picture or a video. While Hollywood caught on the craze pretty quickly, celebs back home also jumped on to face swap bandwagon.
While actors Arjun and Kareena Kapoor did it to promote their film Ki & Ka by swapping their faces on Snapchat, TV anchor Anusha Dandekar and her boyfriend, actor Karan Kundra also tried the feature, sharing it on Instagram. Cricketer Harbhajan Singh also had some fun, ‘swapping’ his face with fellow cricketer Rohit Sharma and garnering over 11,000 likes.
Among Hollywood celebs, singer Zayn Malik’s face swap with a digital picture on his own merchandise T-shirt took his ‘like’ score to over 8 lakh. Others who have tried it include the Kardashian sisters and singer Selena Gomez.
