Priyanka Chopra’s walked the Met Gala 2017 red carpet in a dramatic trench coat gown by designer Ralph Lauren. When Priyanka opened the train of her gown to pose for shutterbugs, it covered a few square feet of the red carpet area. It needed a couple of people to place it properly for her to pose.

While many fashion critics applauded PeeCee’s bold pick, Twitterati were quick enough to come up with the meanest memes possible to troll her gown’s massive train on the red carpet. While Ralph Lauren reinvented the trench coat, showing us how an outerwear can turn into eveningwear, Twitterati clearly didn’t like the innovation.
