The Golconda Lotus Necklace, a one-of-a-kind piece with a rare flawless 12.29 carat Golconda diamond and rare argyle pink diamonds was auctioned at Christie’s, Hong Kong, on Monday.
It fetched an unprecedented Rs 16.29 crore. The necklace, which is the first piece created by brand Nirav Modi for an exclusive collection, is linked by special diamond chains, the cutting of which took over a year to develop.
