Remove blackheads at home
Are you sick and tired of blackheads? Here's the tip to get rid of them!
Hot tip

1.
Get rid of the oil:
Blackheads are caused due to overproduction of sebum and partially blocked skin pores by grime and dead skin cells. To get rid of the oily grime, wash your face with a pH balanced face wash with skin cleansing, rejuvenating and antioxidant properties. Look for ingredients such as aloe vera, turmeric, lemon oil, neem, camphor or clove oil.
2.
Home packs:
Make a pack of 1 tsp lemon juice and half a tsp cinnamon powder and apply on the affected areas after cleansing your face. Allow it to stand for 15 minutes and wash off with cool water. Repeat this for a week. You may also use a mixture of 1 tsp fresh mint and coriander leaf juice with a pinch of turmeric powder for the same purpose.

3.
Sandalwood care:
Apply a mixture of sandalwood, turmeric, Fuller’s earth (multani mitti) and rose water two to three times a week to keep your facial skin cool, clean and free from blackheads and other imperfections. You may also use skin-nourishing cucumber or cabbage juice instead of rose water.
4.
Exfoliation helps:
Regular exfoliation keeps dead skin built-up and excessive oils at bay. Use mild exfoliants containing jojoba oil and chickpea flour (besan) to keep your facial skin clean, supple and radiant.
5.
Scrub gently:
Mix oatmeal powder with rose water to make a paste and apply gently as a face scrub.
