If you have a fetish for shoes, this news will thrill you. Luxury shoe brand, Christian Louboutin, is opening its first boutique in India today.

The French shoe designer, who launched in 1992, has Hollywood stars Rihanna, Victoria Beckham, Beyonce, Blake Lively, and Bollywood actors such as Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor as his loyal fans.

The brand can easily be recognised for its signature red sole on all its shoes. Their first store at DLF Emporio Mall, New Delhi, will have their spring/summer 2012 collection on display for both men and women. Alexis Mourot, COO, Christian Louboutin says, “India has always been in Christian’s heart as shown by all his trips to the country and his passion for Indian culture.”

The collection will also include their Bollywood-inspired shoe line.
