"A celebrity fragrance gives you the chance to identify the scent with a person you think you're most similar too or someone you want to be. So it makes picking one so much easier ," says designer Jenjum Gadi, who's quite the fragrance collector himself. Perhaps this is a prominent reason why celebrity fragrances are always so popular.

To make things a lot more easier for you, here's a round-up of some key celebrity fragrances launching in 2011, which just might be what you're looking for.

What: Taylor Swift’s new scent
What to expect: The reigning sweetheart of pop is collaborating with beauty giant Elizabeth Arden, which also makes fragrances with Britney Spears and Usher. Expect a sweet floral scent, the ideal fragrance for the girl-next-door. It will be out in autumn this year.

What: Kanye West’s fragrance
What to expect: Parlux Fragrance, the brand that brought out Rihanna’s scent, is launching Kanye’s perfume. The scent is still in the manufacturing stages, and will most likely be out by mid-2011. Kanye had last collaborated with Louis Vuitton for customised sneakers.

What: Heidi Klum’s fragrance
What to expect: The supermodel has been working on her first fragrance since last year, and it will be launched this September. The model is more than excited. “I never thought my nose would recover from sniffing so many scent combinations,” she says.
