“Spring has almost arrived, so wearing a nice white dress with a red clutch or accessory would be a good idea. With a peg skirt that sits above your knee, you can wear stockings and complete the look with a short jacket,” says designer Jatin Varma.
Avoid wearing black on this day of love. “Summer colours like pastels can be worn in daytime. Wear a fitted or frilly loose tunic with a pair of tights. And heels are a must,” suggests designer Ashima Singh.
If you want to be a little naughty, don’t forget to wear seductive lingerie inside. A frill or lace number in red, pink or purple is something you can invest in.
“Toga silhouettes (a very loose tunic) look good. Else, fitted jeans with a deep-necked t-shirt in a vibrant colour would work well,” says designer Abhi Singh of Abhi-Rahul.
