Summer picnic inspired ensembles carried naïve flower and plant motives which were used to embellish the skirt of simple summer dresses.

Male models appeared on the ramp in casual shorts and T-Shirts.Emphasis was on natural dyes, thereby making fabrics softer.

Anita Dongre showed by designing the same ensemble for mother and daughter. The concept of sustainable summer daywear can be worn by everybody who wants responsibly to contribute to the environment.

The silhouettes were most wearable and suitable for daily use comprising of dresses, tops, tunics and jackets. Simple, yet stylish through contemporary details such as puffed sleeves, empire cuts and pleated frills at hem which all added to the playful appearance for Spring/Summer 2008.
