Or as we like to call it, inspiration for your next Halloween costume party.

Another season of the Mercedes Fashion Week in Madrid (Spain) has ended and that means it’s time to look back on all that we’ve seen so far. Known for its showcase of edgy designs each year, this edition saw some of the most outlandish outfits on the runway.

From large, puffed up candy-coloured sleeves to shimmering heart-shaped headgear, designers let their imagination run wild - not just with colours but also with silhouettes. We know runway fashion is anything but wearable as it places very little emphasis on functionality. But this one takes the award for the most impractical outfits on the runway. Take a look at some of the creations and get some inspiration for your next Halloween costume.
