Oscar-winning actor Kate Winslet's wax statue has been unveiled at Madame Tussauds, London. She is the latest to join other celebrities at the museum. She was included after visitors voted for her to get her own tribute.

"Guests from around the world voted for Kate Winslet in droves - she has clearly got wide reaching global appeal. She is an iconic actress of a generation; a true English Rose and we're delighted to be creating a figure of her," contactmusic.com quoted Liz Edwards, PR Manager at Madame Tussauds, as saying.

The artists spent months perfecting the figure of the 36-year-old, which is dressed in a red cap-sleeve Elie Saab dress.

Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Britney Spears, David Beckham and Brad Pitt are some of the celebs who have their wax statue at the museum.
