Leading national and international brands and designers have converged at the four-day Celebrating Vivaha 2007 with their products ranging from special menswear brands, jewellery, electronic appliances, paintings, wedding cards, honeymoon packages and wedding cards and what have you.
The Indian capital is the first stop for the annual exhibition, which will travel to other cities in the country during the remaining months of the year.
Speaking at the expo’s opening, Tarun Sarda, CEO, Celebrating Vivah, said: “This is our fifth consecutive year of exhibitions. We are expecting Celebrating Vivaha 2007 to be a truly extravagant affair.”
For the first time, the exhibition will travel to London this year after a successful sojourn in Dubai. The organisers also plan to take the show to Malaysia and Singapore.
“With Celebrating Vivaha, I have endeavoured to redefine the concept of weddings and wedding exhibitions in India. Spurred on by my domestic successes, I plucked the courage to take Celebrating Vivaha international. We became a pan-Asian fair with the Dubai exhibition, In touch with fashion - The Grand Indian Exhibition, last year. The fair was a runaway hit!” Sarda said.
