FC Barcelona have plans to try and bring Thiago Alcantara back to the Catalan Club from Bayern Munich, says reports

The move was also made easier by the fact that his release clause with Barca at the time was just £15million because he didn’t play 60 per cent of that season’s matches.

According to sources, Barca’s sporting director, Robert Fernandez, who was present for Bayern’s Champions League victory of Arsenal FC, had some serioius discussions during the visit.

Arsenal and Manchester City have also been linked with Alcantara, who scored two goals in the first leg of Bayern’s 10-2 aggregate win against the Gunners.
Scouts from Arsenal FC were also present during the Champions League match according to Catalan paper, El Mundo Deportivo.
