2 grab Rs. 50,000 from ex-teacher
Three men snatched Rs. 50,000 from a 55-year-old retired school headmaster and a resident of IFFCO Chowk on Tuesday evening when he was returning home after withdrawing cash from his bank.

Three men snatched Rs. 50,000 from a 55-year-old retired school headmaster and a resident of IFFCO Chowk on Tuesday evening when he was returning home after withdrawing cash from his bank.
One of the accused rammed his bicycle into the teacher’s legs to divert his attention and two others overpowered him, snatched the money bag and fled from the spot. The incident took place in Sadar market.
The case was registered at the city police station and later in the evening, police caught one of the accused. He has been placed on remand after being produced in the court on Wednesday.
