Robbers break into ATM kiosk but fail to steal money
In a botched robbery attempt, robbers broke an ATM kiosk but could not succeed in opening the cash locker on Sunday night on New Railway Road, Gurgaon. According to the police, the security guard of the Punjab National Bank in Bhim Nagar reached the ATM on Sunday morning and saw the shutter broken. He immediately informed his supervisor.

The police are conducting an investigation based on CCTV footage to identify the culprits.
Meanwhile, the city police station has registered a case under Section 457 (house-trespass), 380 (Theft in dwelling house) and 511 of the Indian penal code.

Brijesh Kumar informed the bank officials who then complained to the City police station against unknown persons.
Inspector Satbir Singh, SHO, city police station said, “We have registered a case against unidentified persons. There was no guard deployed at the ATM booth. The incident was discovered at 6am but the staff reported the matter at 9am.”
The robbers broke into the kiosk late on Sunday night, the police said.
