Woman, two-year-old son abducted from partner’s house in Gurugram
The woman had been living with her live-in partner in Sector 57, along with her son, after she left her husband. However, she was not divorced, police said.
A woman and her two-year-old son were allegedly abducted on Sunday morning from a house in which they were staying with her live-in partner in sector 57, police said.

Police also said that the woman’s father and brother are the main suspects.
The 22-year-old woman, a native of Hisar in Haryana, and her son, were allegedly forcefully taken away by people who came in two cars, said station house officer of Sector 56 police station, Narender Khatana.
“On Sunday afternoon, neighbours saw the woman and her son being taken away forcibly by a group of people. They later informed her live-in partner, who filed a police complaint,” Khatana said. An FIR was filed at Sector 56 police station under sector 365 (kidnapping or abducting) of the IPC on Sunday.
“We are coordinating with Hisar Police. Gurugram Police’s crime units are also probing the case,” he said.
The woman had been living with her live-in partner in Sector 57, along with her son, after she left her husband. However, she was not divorced, police said.
ASI Giriraj Sharma, the investigating officer of the case, said the woman’s house in Hisar was found to be locked when Gurugram Police visited it on Monday.
“She was married before she turned 18 years and went to her in-laws house after she turned 18. About two years ago, she had approached the high court and said that her in-laws were harassing her and sought police protection,” Sharma said.
She also refused to go back to her in-laws’ family and came to the city and started living with a man, who works as a security guard, police said.
