Peppermint relieves symptoms of irritable gas syndrome, indigestion and heartburn.

Mint and peppermint have cooling properties. Drink fresh peppermint water or eat pudina chutney. Or make cucumber and pudina juice. Or, apply mint as a skin paste or use it as a face wash.

Mint has a fresh aroma which is why it’s a common breath freshener.

Airway allergies usually lead to spasms, colic of the airways or inflammation. Mint relieves the symptoms very well.

Inhaling mint steam vapours will relieve the symptoms of a cold and reduce the congestion.
