Verdict - The Aloe Vera moisturises the skin and prevents tanning. Price: Rs 210

Verdict - The sunscreen feels non-greasy and glides smoothly on the skin. The high SPF works well.

Vichy: Capital Soleil Spray SPF+30
Claim - It’s non greasy, non sticky and penetrates
rapidly, without leaving white marks on the skin, even with high SPF.
Verdict - It has a creamy texture but spreads well. It does not have a scent. Good for summer.

Claim - Waterproof and sweat resistant, it lasts for up to 80 minutes.
Verdict - The sunscreen live up to its promise of being sweat resistant. It is absorbed quickly into the skin.

L’Oreal Paris uv Perfect spf 50
Claim - Prevents dark spots, skin darkening, is smooth and non-greasy. Tinted, it can be used as a makeup base.
Verdict - With SPF 50, it’s an ideal product for the harsh Indian summer. Though it’s non-greasy, it moisturises the face very well. The tint makes the face smoother and a shade lighter.

Kaya: Sweat-proof Sunscreen
SPF 30+
Claim - It is water and sweat resistant, delivering up to 8-hour broad-spectrum protection.
Verdict - The face doesn’t seem greasy at all on application. And there is no sweating even if you are out in the sun for a while.

Claim - Lightweight, oil-free sun shield safeguards skin from UVA/UVB rays.
Verdict - Glides on smoothly and is not sticky. Leaves no white residue and face feels moisturised for a long time.

Claim - It contains SPF +30 sunscreen with Helioplex. It doesn’t block pores, is waterproof and sweat-proof.
Verdict - Is lightweight so is ideal to wear beneath makeup. It’s also water and sweat proof.
Price: Rs 600, Rating: 9/10

Lotus Herbals: Safe Sun for men SPF 30
Claim - It not only protects skin from UV rays, it also doubles up as a soothing after shave moisturiser.
Verdict - Its mild, masculine fragrance wasn’t bad. It melted into my skin and wasn’t at all oily. Only the flip side, on application, it burnt and stung for a minute
Price: Rs 195 for 60 gm
