Actor Sonam Kapoor, might have shed the extra kilos, but she still finds it hard to reconcile with her overweight past.
“I went up to 88 kg you know. It still haunts me. I think about it and realise that I lost a lot of my teenage years because of my weight issues. It was a time to have fun and meet boys,” the 26-year-old stated at the launch of Kalli Purie’s weight loss memoir, Confessions of a Serial Dieter, held in the Capital.
“I miss it. I miss the fact that I could have gone out much more. I am 51 kg now and I am planning to lose around four more kilos,” adds the actor, who is in fabulous shape and is superbly svelte.
Ask Sonam if she is moving towards a size zero frame like many of her female co-stars including actor Kareena Kapoor, she says, “There is no way I can be size zero. I am definitely too tall for that and being a size two is good enough for me. But Bebo is the best.”
Taking into account Sonam’s desire for a lean body, it’s hard to ignore the actor’s bio on micro-blogging site Twitter. The handle reads, “A female actor who lives to eat and read in that order”.
Sonam doesn’t shy away from defending her virtual description. “I eat too much and that’s what my Twitter handle says. My life revolves around what I am eating for breakfast, lunch, dinner and in between,” she adds.
Last seen in the movie Players, Sonam has Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and Rajkumar Santoshi’s next in her kitty.
