The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Amanda Seyfried (Les Misérables) is interested in playing a farmer's girlfriend in Seth MacFarlane's A Million Ways to Die in the West.
Twenty-seven-year-old Seyfried will join Charlize Theron as well as MacFarlane for this Western comedy. The film will be the author/director's second foray into cinema after his success last summer with the irreverent Ted.
MacFarlane, who created the animated series Family Guy and American Dad, will play a farmer who has been abandoned by his girlfriend after an act of cowardice. He will try and get her back with the help of a famous outlaw's wife played by Charlize Theron.
Filming on A Million Ways to Die in the West will start in May. Before then, Seth MacFarlane will host the 85th Academy Awards on February 24.
