The Oscar-winning star and mother of six will also serve as producer on the film, which she described as "a love story, not a political statement," in a statement issued by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), for which she''s goodwill ambassador.

"I would like to involve as many local people as possible and learn as much as I can, " UsMagazine.com quoted her as saying.
