Ansel Elgort, Miles Teller lead 12 actor shortlist for Han Solo
The Han Solo spinoff has shortlisted 12 young actors including Miles Teller, Ansel Elgort, Dave Franco, Jack Reynor and Logan Lerman for the upcoming Star Wars spinoff directed by The Lego Movie’s Phil Lord and Chris Miller.
Whiplash and Divergent star Miles Teller and The Fault in our Star’s Ansel Elgort are among the 12 actors who have been shortlisted for the popular role of Han Solo in a new Star Wars spin-off.

The two are on a list of approximately 12 young stars including Dave Franco, Jack Reynor, Scott Eastwood, Logan Lerman, Emory Cohen and Blake Jenner, reported Variety.

They will be screen-tested by Disney and Lucasfilm. The movie will not start filming until January 2017 but producers are eager to lock down a star as there is a chance Han could appear in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, which is set in the time period between Episode III and Episode IV. The Lego Movie duo Chris Miller and Phil Lord are directing.
